Ant-Man Gets New Release Date: July 17, 2015

Marvel has announced that the Ant-Man movie has jumped ahead to a new release date with July 17, 2015.

That's two weeks ahead of the previous release date of July 31st.

Recent news surrounding Ant-Man includes the announcements of Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, and it's become known that Edgar Wright will film in Atlanta, Georgia.

The July 17th release now puts Ant-Man head-to-head against the Warner Bros. film which stars Hugh Jackman, Pan.

Warner Bros. recently announced that their Batman Vs. Superman movie would be going head-to-head against an untitled Marvel movie on May 6, 2016. Batman Vs. Superman previously held the July 17, 2015 date prior to the shift.
