Andy Lanning Says The Guardians of the Galaxy Movie Will Be Awesome

5745 Earlier, Guardians of the Galaxy movie director James Gunn posted an image of himself with comic book scribes Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning (right).

The trio were hanging on the set of the new movie, which is currently in pre-production and will begin filming in London this June.

Previously, Gunn had only good things to say about DnA, and now Abnett and Lanning offer similar thoughts in kind.

Writing on his Facebook, Abnett posted the following:

A grand day out :)
Thanks to James and the guys at the studio. So excited!

With Lanning stating the Guardians of the Galaxy movie is going to be awesome.

Great day with James Gunn at the GotG production offices. The film will be awesome! Thanks to everyone there for being so kind and generous, cheers!

Abnett and Lanning wrote the 2008 Guardians of the Galaxy comic book series, which - hopefully - the movie is based on.

Guardians of the Galaxy has an August 1, 2014 release.
