Body

We get some breaking news coming out of the C2E2 as it's become known that the 100th Anniversary Special – Guardians of the Galaxy comic book from Marvel will be written by Andy Lanning and Ron Marz.

On art is Gustavo Duarte with a cover by David Lopez.

Of course fans known that Andy Lanning was one half of the cosmic duo known as DnA on the 2008 Guardians of the Galaxy comic book.

Ron Marz is a legend and known for working on Silver Surfer, Green Lantern and lots more.

Look for the issue to hit in July.

Update: The five-weely series that make up the 100th Anniversary Specials that Marvel is releasing in July take place in the year 2061, 100 years after the start of the modern-day Marvel Universe in 1961’s Fantastic Four #1. (Spider-Man, X-Men, Avengers and Fantastic Four make up the others).
