Andrew Garfield No-Shows The Oscars: Captain America Chris Evans Saves The Day

Body

Last night at the Oscars saw Chris Evans introduced the video montage featuring all sorts of footage from various superhero movies.

It turns out that Andrew Garfield was originally supposed to introduce the superhero video but apparently no-showed the Oscars.

It's said Chris Evans was asked to fill in, and sure enough, Captain America answered the call.

Check out the video for yourself, it features Captain America, Spider-Man, Avengers, Star Wars, Superman, Batman and more.

No reason has been stated as of yet for Andrew Garfield's Oscars absence.

Worth a note might be that it's particularly interesting if you watch the video as it starts off with Captain America's shield, and of course, the Oscars show was televised on Disney and Marvel Studios' ABC.
