Amy Adams & Scott McNairy Weigh In On Batman Vs. Superman
Batman Vs. Superman Comic-Con Trailer
We're about five months away from big debut of Batman Vs. Superman which will launch the Justice League-shared universe as the DC Trinity will be seen together on the big screen.
Warner Bros. has yet to release a new trailer, but a LexCorp viral campaign has started and details about what's not in the movie have trickled out.
Now both Amy Adams and Scoot McNairy weigh in on the film offering Batman Vs. Superman is both humorous and serious at the same time.
Adams, who will be reprising as Lois Lane from Man of Steel, tells THR: “I can't give too much away, but I'm coming into a scene and Batman and Superman are both in the scene, so I can say that. And it was just fun. Because they had been working together for a couple weeks and just running it, seeing this dynamic. I'll talk about this when we're promoting the movie and we can tell more. But there were definitely funny moments involving bat-suits and such.”
McNairy, whose own role is shrouded in secrecy (yet may have been revealed in a fan-theory), stated in a recent press event (picked up by We Got This Covered): "This is the superhero film that is more grounded in reality than any of the other ones. It’s a comic book movie, yes, but it’s very, very grounded."
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
