The popular FX series American Horror Story will see its Season 4 location at a Carnival.

Writer Douglas Petrie gave an update on a recent panel podcast where he confirmed the news.

THR reports that when Petrie was asked about American Horror Story Season 4 having a carnival theme, he replied, "Very roughly, that's the idea."

It's also been previously revealed that American Horror Story Season 4 will be set in the 1950s, which will also see the return of Jessica Lange in what is said to be her final season.

American Horror Story is an anthology series where each season features an all-new storyline, but does feature some of the same cast from previous seasons; so viewers don't have to reply upon past season episodes for the current season.

The previous three seasons for American Horror Story were subtitled: "Murder House," "Asylum" and "Coven."

The fourth season title has yet to be revealed.
