Amazing Spider-Man Video Game: First Look At In-Game Screenshot

Here is a first look at an in-game screen shot from The Amazing Spider-Man video game, which will be released in conjunction with the movie this summer.

The free-roaming game sees events take place after the movie in an all new storyline.

In all-new Spider-Man is poised to bring the action back to New York City as Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc., and Marvel Entertainement, LLC announce The Amazing Spider-Manâ„¢ video game, planned to launch summer 2012 tied to Sony Pictures Entertainment's upcoming feature film of the same name.  Created as an epilogue story occurring entirely after the events of the movie, the game features the return of free-roaming web-slinging all over the city and evolutionary improvements to navigation and combat, as the newly anointed Spider-Man is plunged into an all-new storyline charged with protecting Manhattan from a variety of criminals.
 

The Amazing Spider-Man swings into theaters July 3rd, 2012 in 3-D and is directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard, Irrfan Khan as Nels Van Adder, Martin Sheen as Ben Parker, Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy, Sally Field as May Parker and C. Thomas Howell as Ray Cooper.
