Amazing Spider-Man 2 Gets Ravencroft Institute For Criminally Insane
We get a new teaser image for Amazing Spider-Man 2 from director Marc Webb which reveals the Marvel Comics correctional facility, the Ravencroft Institute For The Criminally Insane.
Marvel Comics fans should recognize this place as it has housed many Spider-Man villains including Vermin, Jackal, Carnage and Venom.
With it, we could also see new supporting characters introduced in the sequel with Dr. Ashley Kafka, John Jameson or even quite possibly Dr. Leonard Samson. Though Doc Samson would most likely be considered a part of the Hulk mythos, Disney and Sony do have a good working relationship as they split the film and merchandising rights to Spider-man.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giammatti, Felicity Jones and Colm Feore.
