Alan Cumming Looks Like A No To Nightcrawler In X-Men: Days of Future Past

Body

6075 Yesterday news surfaced that James McAvoy said that Alan Cumming might be back for X-Men: Days of Future Past as Nightcrawler.

The new X-Men movie will feature the First Class characters as well as some of the originals including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry.

Alan Cumming's Nightcrawler has been a fan-favorite since teleporting into X2, but it looks like he'll miss the mark for X-Men: Days of Future Past.

"No, they haven’t [asked me to return]," Cumming told SiriusXM (via XMenFilms). "Someone asked me that the other day and I said no. I know the one that’s coming up shoots this Spring, but I wouldn’t be available anyways. I dont think they have. I was gonna meet my manager for dinner later, I was gonna ask him, but no, I’m sure they would’ve told me, had they approached."

X-Men: Days of Future Past has a July 14, 2014 release date also starring Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, and Shawn Ashmore.
