After AvX Bendis Takes Over X-Men Books?!

Bendis kills the Avengers books so Marvel's answer is to stick him on the X-Men titles (haha)?

Well, that seems to be what actually is happening post Avengers Vs. X-Men (not the killing part, well, that depends who you ask).

Bleeding Cool has it from industry insiders that Brian Michael Bendis will be taking over X-Men.

I’ve been told by a number of industry sources only one thing. That he’ll be taking over the X-Men books.

Bendis has been helming the Avengers titles at Marvel for quite some time, which sees his run end this Summer. The writer has previously stated that he will be doing something a bit different (on the Bendis tapes), and Marvel EIC Axel Alonso stated that we won't believe what Bendis will be writing next as well.

To add to that, David Gabriel, Marvel's Senior Vice President of Sales, stated the following in a recent letter to retailers:

When "Avengers VS X-Men" ends, the Marvel Universe will be a different place and the ramifications of certain actions by our major characters sets the tone for our new Marvel Universe.

Good thing? Bad?
