24 New Images of Heath Ledger as The Joker and Christian Bale as Batman From The Dark Knight

Body

Surfacing on Reddit a couple days ago, new promotional images of Heath Ledger as The Joker and Christian Bale as Batman from The Dark Knight have made their way online.

Easily the best of The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Dark Knight saw tragedy strike when Heath Ledger was found dead during the film's post-production.

The movie brought in over $1 billion at the box office with the subsequent release of The Dark Knight DVD shattering records across the globe. The Dark Knight was even the first movie to be released on a social networking site as a rental through Facebook.

While director Christopher Nolan made no reference to The Joker in The Dark Knight Rises, it was said in the movie's novel that The Joker may have escaped Arham Asylum and was not seen by Catwoman while she was confined inside Blackgate Prison.

It's recently been rumored that The Joker may surface yet again in a Batman 2016 movie reboot, possibly based on the popular Batman Arkham Asylum video game, as well as connected to the upcoming Justice League movie.
